Giveaway: Name that Necklace Competition!

Hey wonderful people, I'm having a new competition for the rest of July and into August. It's called the Name that Necklace Competition.

All you have to do is think of a name of the necklace in the pictures above. The names should be two words long and be related to nature in some way. For example, Wooden Gold, Glacial White , Blue Pebble etc, etc.

Email your entries to The competition ends on August 15

New Necklace: Wooden Gold

Materials: Amber and Wooden Beads, Ostrich Shell beads from Kenya, Nylon Thread, Love

Mood: I love mixing the various types of beads up within the same colour line. The Ostrich shell beads were part of a beautiful Necklace from Kenya my godmother bought for me when she lived in Africa. Unfortunately, the necklace broke but I've decided to use the beads in some of my pieces. Waste not, want not!

Cost: $18 USD

(Orders can be made by emailing Please specify the name of the piece you are ordering in your email)

Side note: I know it's been a while since I updated this blog or made anything new. Sorry guys, procrastination had me in her bear grip. I'll post more frequently from now on.

New Work! : "New Earth"

I haven't made any pieces for a while. This was mainly because of school and other distractions. But now I have more time and I am ready to launch a new collection called New Earth. Previously my work was more whimsical and girly but recently I've been feeling more grounded in earth tones. Hence the name New Earth.

I started working on it yesterday after a burst of creativity.

(update 01/06/09: The item above has been sold)

Like it/ Love it/ Hate it? Let me know!
